Goodwill - Store Clerk/Cashier

Position Overview

Goodwill is currently seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to support retail store operations, enhance customer service, and manage sales transactions. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, welcoming, and efficient store environment.

Key Responsibilities

Store Clerks are responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly, including:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, assist with purchases, and provide general support.

• Transaction Processing: Operate cash registers, handle cash and card payments, and bag items for customers.

• Merchandise Management: Stock shelves, organize racks and displays, tag merchandise, and price donated items.

• Donation Processing: Assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.

• Store Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

• Compliance: Follow all store procedures regarding handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Range: The position typically pays between $13 and $17 per hour, with a posted range of $14 to $21 per hour depending on location and experience.

• Additional Pay Opportunities: Eligibility for overtime pay, weekend shift differentials, holiday pay, and performance-based raises.
