About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient shopping environment for our customers while supporting the broader goal of workforce development and community service.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and providing exceptional service. Your day will involve processing sales transactions accurately, handling cash and card payments, and card payments, and bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions about products and helping them find what they need.

Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of the role, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.
