Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers while supporting our mission through the processing of sales transactions and the management of donated goods. Store Clerks serve as the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring the store remains organized and clean.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly. Your day may include operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and processing transactions, as well as assisting customers with questions and purchases. You will also be involved in the back-of-house operations, such as tagging and pricing donated items, sorting donations, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of the role, as is helping customers find what they need.
