Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is central to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers, assisting with purchases, and maintaining an organized and welcoming store environment.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will operate the cash register, handle various payment methods, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with questions, stock shelves, organize racks and displays, and tag merchandise. You will also help maintain store cleanliness and organization, depending on location needs, assist with accepting and sorting donated items to prepare them for the sales floor.
