Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient store environment where donated items are processed and prepared for sale.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling various payment methods, and bagging items. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and ensuring the sales floor remains clean and inviting.

A significant part of the role involves processing donations. You will assist in accepting donations from the community, sorting items, and tagging and pricing merchandise for the sales floor. This hands-on work ensures that donated goods are ready for customers to purchase, supporting Goodwill's mission.
