About the Role
The Stockroom Worker is essential to our daily operations, responsible for preparing, altering, and processing new or used garment inventories for delivery to our customers. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained and records are accurate. You will receive new garments from vendors, inspect them for quality, and handle any issues such as back orders or incorrect items by notifying supervision immediately.
In this position, you will work in the production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility. The environment involves working with or around large machinery, with variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust. Your day will involve retrieving finished garments, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, and utilizing sewing machines or label sealing machinery to prepare items for delivery. You will work at a pace that keeps up with the flow of garments and delivery date requirements, ensuring that work areas remain neat, clean, and safe.
