Walmart is seeking Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to play a vital role in supporting store operations. This position is essential for ensuring that merchandise is efficiently moved from delivery trucks to the sales floor, maintaining an organized and well-stocked environment for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves. The role requires rotating inventory, building displays, and labeling products to ensure accuracy and presentation. You may also use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, as well as inventory systems, to move and track merchandise throughout the store.

Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed. Full-time and part-time employees help keep the backroom and sales floor organized, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist with promotional display setups. The role also involves helping to keep the store clean and organized, contributing to a positive shopping experience.
