About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the seamless flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with precision. Your day may involve rotating inventory, building promotional displays, labeling products, and using tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to track and move merchandise throughout the store.

Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed, ensuring everything is ready for the next day’s shoppers. Throughout the shift, you will assist with truck unloads, maintain inventory accuracy, organize backroom bins, and help keep both the backroom and sales floor clean and organized.
