About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker, Backroom, or Receiving Associate, you will play a key part in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory, and stocking shelves with fresh products. You will use tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise efficiently. Attention to detail is crucial as you rotate inventory, build displays, label products, and keep both the backroom and sales floor organized.

Overnight stockers focus on preparing the store for the next day's operations while the store is closed, ensuring that shelves are fully stocked and ready for customers when they arrive.
