Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

Position Overview

Walmart is currently seeking dedicated Stockers, Backroom Associates, and Receiving Associates to support daily store operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and organized by managing the flow of merchandise from delivery trucks to the backroom and finally to the customer-facing areas.

Key Responsibilities

Associates in this position are responsible for a variety of tasks designed to maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation. Core duties include:

• Unloading and Receiving: Assist in unloading delivery trucks and processing incoming merchandise.

• Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and store merchandise in the backroom, including organizing backroom bins and maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Stocking and Display: Stock shelves with merchandise, rotate inventory to ensure freshness, build promotional displays, and label products appropriately.

• Equipment Operation: Utilize pallet jacks, carts, and inventory tracking systems to move and monitor merchandise throughout the store.

• Store Maintenance: Keep both the backroom and sales floor clean, organized, and ready for customers.

• Overnight Specifics: Overnight stockers focus primarily on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Structure

This position typically offers an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $21 per hour. Final pay may vary based on shift and location. Additional compensation opportunities may include:

• Overnight shift differential pay
