Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring merchandise is accurately received, organized, and ready for the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping both the backroom and sales floor organized and clean.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. You will stock shelves, rotate inventory, build displays, and label products to ensure a seamless shopping experience. The role may involve using pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.

Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed. Full-time and part-time employees may also assist with truck unloads and set up promotional displays.
