About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the seamless flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. You will use tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to track and move products throughout the store. Your duties include stocking shelves, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, building displays, labeling products, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed.
