About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker, Backroom, or Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the store running efficiently. Your day may involve unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will also be responsible for rotating inventory, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both promotional and standard displays, and labeling products to ensure they are ready for sale.

In the backroom, you will use tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store. You will also assist with truck unloads and help keep both the backroom and sales floor clean and organized.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus will be on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This ensures that the store is ready for customers as soon as it opens.
