Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping the store organized and ready for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key part in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing items in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will also be responsible for rotating stock, building displays, labeling products, and assisting with promotional setups, and keeping both the backroom and sales floor clean and organized.

Depending on your shift, you may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, and utilize inventory systems to track merchandise throughout the store. Overnight stockers focus on preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
