About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and preparing items for the sales floor. You will use tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise efficiently.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus is on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This ensures that when customers arrive, the store is ready and well-organized.
