Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the seamless flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean shopping environment for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves. You will rotate inventory, build displays, label products, and keep both the backroom and sales floor organized. Depending on the shift, you may use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.

Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed. Full-time and part-time employees may also assist with truck unloads, set up promotional displays, and help keep the store clean and organized.
