Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the seamless flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with precision. You will be responsible for rotating inventory, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both the backroom and sales floor organized and efficient.

Depending on your shift, you may utilize pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store. Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while it is closed, ensuring everything is ready for the next day's customers.
