About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean shopping environment for customers. Associates play a critical part in unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom. You will also stock shelves, rotate inventory, build displays, and label products. Using tools like pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems, carts, and inventory systems, you will move and track merchandise throughout the store.

Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
