Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking dedicated Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support essential support store operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of the retail environment, ensuring that merchandise flows efficiently from delivery trucks to the sales floor. Your primary mission is to maintain inventory accuracy, organize backroom bins, and prepare merchandise for stocking, ensuring the store is clean, organized, and ready for customers.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and receiving areas. Using tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems, carts, and inventory tracking systems, you will move and track merchandise throughout the store.

For overnight stockers, the focus shifts to stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This ensures that the sales floor is fully stocked and ready for the next day's shoppers.
