Walmart Stocker / Backroom / Receiving Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will be responsible for rotating stock, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both promotional and standard, and ensuring that the sales floor and backroom remain clean and organized.

You may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise, and you will utilize inventory systems to track and manage stock levels. Overnight stockers will focus on preparing the store for opening by stocking shelves and organizing the backroom while the store is closed.
