About the Role
Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Staff RN to deliver specialized nursing care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role exists to support safe discharges and promote optimal functional outcomes for adult patients in a nurturing, dynamic, and rewarding environment with strong career growth potential.
You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers to assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and closely monitor progress toward rehabilitation goals. Your day will involve administering medications and treatments safely, educating patients and families on care and safety, and participating in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will also supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff as assigned.
