Senior Retailer Licensing and Compliance Specialist

About the Role

If you love keeping things organized, solving puzzles, and making sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed, this role might just be your professional playground. We're looking for a detail‑driven, people‑savvy Senior Retailer and Compliance Specialist to help keep our retailer network running smoothly, accurately, and responsibly.

In this role, you'll be the quality gatekeeper for retailer applications, the compliance compass for new partners, and the behind‑the‑scenes hero supporting Sales, Marketing, and Accounting. You will review applications, mentor analysts, reconcile financials, maintain databases, and help ensure retailers meet all requirements to operate with integrity. This is a hybrid position; all employees must reside in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

check_circleRespond to applicant inquiries and provide technical assistance regarding submission processes
check_circleCommunicate with applicants to resolve errors and deficiencies in application or compliance submissions
check_circlePrepare credit and background check reports to support decision-making processes
check_circleEnter initial bank account information for financial sweeps
check_circleTrack and report incomplete applications to the Sales department on a weekly basis
check_circleCreate and update Promotional IDs in collaboration with the Marketing department
check_circleVerify retailer applications for compliance with all regulatory requirements
check_circleProcess application fees and refunds while reconciling daily and monthly with Retail Accounting
check_circleConduct thorough reviews of retailer lottery applications and forms for completeness and timeliness

Requirements

verifiedAssociate's degree and two years of experience
verifiedKnowledge of leases, bills of sale, warranty deeds, and purchase agreements
verifiedAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writing
