The Technical Market Intelligence and Process Development role sits at the intersection of strategic market insight and hands-on chemical innovation. This position is designed to identify new market opportunities and potential products while simultaneously driving the process development required to bring them to life. You will bridge the gap between data-driven market analysis and the practical realities of synthetic chemistry, ensuring that business opportunities are translated into viable, compliant manufacturing processes.
In this capacity, you will conduct deep-dive market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, converting complex data into actionable business strategies. Your work will define the scope of product offerings and generate qualified leads for business development, while also supporting marketing communications with technical collateral. On the process development side, you will perform synthetic chemistry experiments, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and interpret analytical results to drive continuous improvement. This role demands a unique blend of scientific creativity, independent problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across departments, customers, and partners to solve problems of moderate to complex scope.
You will operate within a dynamic environment that values scientific rigor, safety, and cross-functional collaboration. The team relies on individuals who can think independently while effectively mentoring others and contributing to clear, logical technical documentation. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, the regulatory landscape, and the specific nuances of activated polymers used in therapeutics, medical devices, and diagnostics.
Candidates must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
