Within the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) organization, we seek innovative ideas and creative solutions to seemingly impossible problems. We collaborate with the best Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where they don't yet exist.

Our Radar Systems Engineering team and Sensor Architectures group are composed of engineers from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. We work together to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.

About the Role

As a Sensor Systems Architect, you will join a team of the brightest minds in the world to support the architecture, design, Concept of Operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. This role exists to drive radar capability implementation across subsystems and ensure mission success criteria are met through clear, executable, and testable approaches.

You will thrive in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment where the hard work is the fun part. Your day will involve performing concept of operations design, conducting trade studies to analyze system-level performance impacts, and developing detailed design documentation. You will represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program leadership, and senior stakeholders on significant technical matters.
