Within the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) organization, we collaborate with top-tier Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where none previously existed.
Our Radar Systems Engineering team brings together engineers and Sensor Architects from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. We work together to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
As a Sensor Systems Architect, you will join a team of the brightest minds to support the architecture, design, Concept of Operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. This role exists to drive radar capability implementation across subsystems by defining radar behavior and developing associated requirements.
You will thrive in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment where the hard work is the fun part. Your day will involve performing concept of operations design, conducting trade studies to analyze system-level performance impacts, and developing detailed design documentation. You will collaborate closely with subsystem teams to define clear, executable, and testable approaches for meeting mission success criteria, while representing the organization on contracts and interfacing with internal and external customers, program leadership, and senior stakeholders on significant technical matters.
