At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we tackle the world's most demanding challenges within the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) organization. Our Radar Systems Engineering team brings together the brightest minds across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where they don't yet exist. We collaborate with top-tier Radar engineers to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.

About the Role

As a Sensor Systems Architect, you will join a team of diverse engineers and architects dedicated to advancing sensor architectures. This role exists to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. You will serve as a bridge between concept and reality, defining radar behavior, developing requirements, and conducting trade studies to evaluate system-level performance impacts. Your work will directly influence mission success criteria, requiring you to represent the organization on contracts and interface with senior leadership, program managers, and multi-disciplinary teams on significant technical matters.
