At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we tackle the world's most demanding challenges within the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) organization. We collaborate with top-tier Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where none previously existed. Our team of Radar Systems Engineers and Sensor Architects comes from diverse backgrounds, working together to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to customers like the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, Army, Space Force, and international partners including Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.

About the Role

The Sensor Architectures team is seeking a candidate to support the architecture, design, Concept of Operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. This role exists to drive radar capability implementation across subsystems by defining clear, executable, and testable approaches for meeting mission success criteria.

In this position, you will engage in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment where the hard work is the fun part. You will conduct trade studies to analyze system-level performance impacts, develop detailed design documentation, and represent the organization on contracts while interfacing with internal and external customers, program leadership, and senior stakeholders.
