About the Role
The Clinical Sales Executive is responsible for creating institutional demand for Beckman Coulter’s diagnostic instruments by establishing and positioning novel tests and biomarkers in our host response to infection portfolio (MDW, MeMed BV (bacterial vs viral)) as the tools that best align with health system/hospital goals for improved patient care through better infection detection. The CSE will work to achieve this mission by engaging with senior level decision makers across the hospital/health system to align the portfolio with institutional infection detection strategy, goals, and KPIs. Engagement with senior leaders from nursing, emergency medicine, pharmacy, quality, patient safety, risk management, IT, infection control, laboratory, and administration is required.
This position reports to the Sr. National Clinical Sales Manager and is part of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics commercial organization working remotely to cover the East area.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor’s degree with 9+ years experience or Master’s degree with 7+ years experience selling clinically within hospital settings
- verifiedValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- verifiedExperience in infection detection, sepsis care, decision support, utilization management, ED workflows, antibiotic stewardship, or DRG cost strategies
- verifiedExperience with business development or launching new technologies in complex healthcare environments
- verifiedExperience configuring and integrating EMR, middleware, and healthcare IT systems, particularly within emergency department settings
- verifiedExperience aligning ED initiatives with committee-led objectives and broader health system priorities
- verifiedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex concepts, develop business cases, and articulate ROI
