Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAnalyze complex professional liability claims and determine exposure
- check_circleCalculate and monitor claim reserves for adequacy
- check_circleCoordinate legal defense and monitor attorney compliance
- check_circleNegotiate claim settlements within designated authority levels
- check_circleRepresent the company in depositions, mediations, and trials, and mediations
- check_circleConduct full investigations and provide reports on new claims
- check_circleMentor and delegate work to assigned staff members
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- verifiedLicenses as required
- verifiedProfessional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- verifiedSix (6) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
