Key Responsibilities
- check_circleImplement speech language pathology treatment plans
- check_circleAdapt program and plan of care according to individual patient needs
- check_circleCoordinate acquisition of adaptive communication devices and instruct patients
- check_circlePerform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) if trained
- check_circleEvaluate patients and establish diagnoses and treatment plans
- check_circleConsult with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens
- check_circleOrganize and provide speech-language services for rehabilitation
- check_circleSupervise CFYs, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel
Requirements
- verifiedDegree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similar field acceptable to ASHA
