The Advertising Standards & Practices team is responsible for the clearance of all advertising intended for linear distribution across the client's Network, Freeform, FX Networks, National Geographic Channel Networks, and related streaming services. The team provides industry-leading support by working collaboratively and creatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all campaigns meet company policy, network standards, and industry guidelines.
As a Standards & Practices Associate, you will review high-profile national advertising campaigns at all phases of development. Your primary mission is to assess the overall acceptability of content, focusing on truthfulness, accuracy, and appropriateness. This involves identifying express and implied claims and evaluating the adequacy of supporting documentation, such as studies, market research, and complex industry-specific data.
You will effectively issue, interpret, and apply policy to address matters of taste and community sensibilities. A key part of your day involves maintaining thorough records of all communications, claim support, and documentation obtained during the clearance process. You will need to manage large volumes of content and keep extensive records to ensure a rigorous and organized workflow in a fast-paced environment.
