About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our award-winning team in our Middle School Special Education Program. This role exists to empower students with diverse learning needs by leading the instructional process for those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). You will design dynamic, personalized learning experiences within the learning center and classroom, delivering targeted instruction that aligns with state and school standards.
In this position, you will thrive in a collaborative environment where creativity and a solution-focused mindset are essential. Your day will involve integrating educational software, creating comprehensive lesson plans, and adapting curricular content to accommodate diverse learning styles. Beyond academics, you will model Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to build a classroom climate of mutual respect and social development. You will partner with parents, colleagues, and administrators to actively involve the community in the educational process, ensuring every student receives the support needed to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential.
