This position serves as a specialized consultant within the bank's credit operations, managing a diverse portfolio of business and agricultural loans that require heightened attention. The role exists to navigate complex financial challenges, making critical decisions on special asset credits or providing strategic recommendations to the EVP – Chief Credit Officer and the Central Credit Committee.
In this capacity, you will act as a trusted advisor to business and agricultural lenders, assisting them in managing credits facing difficulty. Your day-to-day involves a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, including the management, servicing, and liquidation of the Bank's Other Real Estate Owned (OREO) assets, as well as overseeing the repossession and liquidation of personal property. You will be an integral part of the Quarterly Asset Review meetings, where problem loans are discussed in detail, ensuring that loss minimization and collection efforts are maximized while adhering strictly to all loan policies and regulatory requirements.
