About the Role

This is no ordinary job, and our special agents are no ordinary individuals. During the course of their careers, special agents carry out assignments in both investigations and protection, often assigned to multiple duty stations throughout the U.S. and abroad. You will serve your country with honor, distinction, and pride as part of an elite team.

Hiring Process

To become a special agent, you must demonstrate the talent and background we need. The selection process includes rigorous physical and background evaluations, including:

• Submission of a drug test prior to appointment and random testing while in the position.
• Obtaining and retaining a Top Secret Clearance.
• Completing 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA.
• Completing 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
• Signing a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
