About the Mission
Adventure Ted is a beloved character created by the Childhood Cancer Society to provide financial and emotional support to families battling pediatric cancer. This role is dedicated to ensuring that Adventure Ted's voice consistently reflects the spirit of our cause across all animations, virtual events, and multimedia projects.
About the Role
You will serve as the voice behind Adventure Ted, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools and audio technology to craft a character portrayal that resonates deeply with audiences. This position exists to elevate Adventure Ted's presence on social media and beyond, creating impactful emotional connections through high-quality, engaging voiceovers. Your work will bridge the gap between advanced technology and heartfelt storytelling, ensuring every project captures the character's optimistic, fun-loving, and compassionate nature.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Childhood Cancer Society's creative and production teams. You will be responsible for bringing animations and projects to life, troubleshooting technical challenges related to AI voice synthesis, and researching emerging audio technologies to continually improve the quality and consistency of the character's voice. It is a unique opportunity to use sound and technology to inspire audiences while supporting a vital cause.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will be asked to share examples of previous projects where they utilized AI or audio technologies to create character voices. Additionally, applicants must provide a sample demonstrating their interpretation of Adventure Ted's voice to showcase their ability to align with the character's specific personality traits.
