Position Overview
We are seeking highly skilled Design Engineers to support new automated assembly system projects. In this role, you will independently execute complex mechanical designs, collaborating closely with Project Engineers during structured design reviews to deliver high-quality engineering solutions within fast-paced project timelines.
About the Role
This is a heavy design-focused position dedicated to the technical execution of custom automated assembly equipment. You will own assigned machine design work from the initial concept and layout phases through detailed component and assembly development. The role requires adapting established engineering methods to address non-routine or highly customized design challenges while ensuring all designs meet strict requirements for accuracy, manufacturability, safety, and performance.
You will work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment with minimal oversight, providing strong technical execution and design judgment. While you will collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, controls, and systems integration teams, this position does not include project management or leadership responsibilities.
Work Environment
Candidates must be prepared for a demanding schedule, working approximately 50+ hours per week. Flexible start times are available between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM to accommodate the heavy design focus of the role.
