About the Role
You will join a dynamic team of Software Developers, ETL Developers, and Data Scientists to enhance existing production applications and build new web services on a routinized production cadence. This role focuses on developing high-performance, distributed systems that operate on petabyte-scale structured and unstructured data, enabling mission users to rapidly access, process, and exploit critical information.
Operating at the intersection of big data, distributed systems, and mission analytics, you will build core platform capabilities such as ingest pipelines, text extraction services, and search infrastructure. These systems directly enable downstream analytics, AI, and operational workflows. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for engineers who thrive on building scalable systems from the ground up, solving complex data problems, and delivering production-grade capabilities in high-stakes, real-world environments.
Hiring Process

- Security Clearance Verification: Confirmation of TS/SCI FSP Clearance status.
- Technical Screening: Assessment of proficiency in Linux, cloud architecture (AWS/C2S), and full-stack development.
- System Design & Architecture Review: Evaluation of experience with microservices, containerization, and petabyte-scale data systems.
- Team Fit & Stakeholder Communication: Review of ability to translate requirements into software tasks and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Final Interview & Offer: Discussion of role specifics and compensation.

Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, or TensorFlow. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Pandas, D3.js, ggplot, etc.). Experience with Relational or Non-Relational data stores (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB). Experience using Natural Language Processing tools (spaCy, NLTK, Stanford CoreNLP, Gensim). Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Search Ranking, Duplicate Detection, BERT, Image Recognition, Fuzzy Search, Named Entity Recognition (NER), or Document Categorization.
