We are searching for an early-career Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This role exists to improve the software cybersecurity of our medical products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy. You will work closely with other software engineers and cross-functional partners to bring essential, best-in-class cybersecurity controls into the medical field.
In this position, you will design, implement, and test software solutions for cybersecurity controls while defining requirements and detailing product designs based on those needs. You will perform code and design reviews with a security lens, conduct periodic risk assessments to identify and analyze vulnerabilities, and develop recommendations to mitigate security risks. Working in an FDA-regulated environment, you will develop product software using C++ and scripting languages like bash, actively collaborating with Product Security, systems, test, and service teams.
This position is hybrid, with remote work options considered on a case-by-case basis if approved by the Company. MS/MEng in Cybersecurity or similar field. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Dev-Sec-Ops tools and processes. Experience working with Agile methodology as an individual contributor. Experience analyzing security risks from sources such as penetration testing, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
