About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the Submarine Maintenance Monitoring Information System (SMMIS). This web application is the critical tool used by US Navy Submarine Performance Monitoring Teams to track and report on daily activities supporting the fleet. The system manages inspection test point data, equipment deficiency information, equipment management, and fleet support, generating ad hoc reports, engineering reviews, and other formalized documentation.

In this role, you will research, design, and develop enterprise-wide systems while ensuring compliance with software standards. You will evaluate the interface between hardware and software, assess operational requirements, and document system testing and maintenance corrections. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the business office supporting our customers, ensuring the product we deliver is one we are confident in and proud of.

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one prior to starting.
