GovCIO is currently hiring for a 1st shift Security Analyst to support the US Courts in Washington, DC. This role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring four days onsite with Fridays remote.
The Security Analyst will play a critical role in correlating threat data from various sources to establish the identity and modus operandi of hackers active in the client's networks. By developing cyber threat profiles based on geographic regions, countries, or specific actors, the team provides the customer with assessments and reports that facilitate situational awareness and a deep understanding of current cyber threats and adversaries.
Day-to-day, the analyst will collaborate with intrusion analysts to identify, report on, and coordinate the remediation of cyber threats. The role involves conducting intelligence analysis to assess intrusion signatures, tactics, techniques, and procedures associated with cyber attacks. You will leverage technical knowledge of computer systems and networks to assess the client's security posture and provide timely, actionable sanitized intelligence to cyber incident response professionals. Additionally, the position may involve providing computer forensic and intrusion support for high-technology investigations, including evidence seizure, forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.
