Shift Runner

About the Role

As a Shift Runner, you will manage all functions of the restaurant to ensure customer service and high-quality products are delivered when the General Manager is not on duty. This role is critical for the successful execution of fast, accurate menu items and world-class customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.

You will serve as the leader on the floor, supervising food preparation, sales, service, and deliveries. Your day involves greeting customers, taking orders, making orders, and routing drivers, while also overseeing a staff of 3 to 25 employees. From opening procedures to closing duties, you will ensure daily and weekly paperwork is completed with integrity and accuracy.

Beyond operational tasks, you will be responsible for food safety, labor management, equipment maintenance, and general store cleaning. You will also handle food and supply ordering, receiving, and proper storage. A key part of your mission is to implement team-building and morale-boosting activities, fostering a positive culture where everyone feels personally responsible for achieving results.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers an hourly wage range of $17.38 to $19.75. Eligible employees may receive a performance-based monthly bonus after three months of service. Additionally, the role includes Paid Family Medical Leave and Paid Sick Leave in compliance with Washington state law.
