Insight is a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge. We are not just a tech company; we are a people-first organization. With over 14,000 engaged teammates globally and $8.2 billion in revenue, we guide organizations through complex digital decisions by unlocking the power of people and technology to accelerate transformation.
This role sits within the Sustainability department, which operates as an integration and warehouse facility. The environment features moderate noise levels typical of a business office, with computers, phones, and printers, alongside light foot traffic. Teammates must be comfortable working in a confined space and sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods.
As a Services Operations Specialist, you will be the operational backbone for the shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices for specific accounts. Your day will involve entering orders in a timely manner while strictly adhering to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will act as the primary investigator for receiving discrepancies, proactively managing receipt dates and collaborating with distribution employees to resolve issues regarding lost or damaged products.
You will become an expert on specific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned vendors, managing all aspects of vendor relationships, back-orders, and estimated time of arrivals. A key part of your mission is ensuring accurate costing, classification, and status of assigned products, identifying billing and inventory discrepancies, and working with finance to resolve vendor issues. You will also handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for damaged or unused products and manage warranty claims.
Communication is central to this role. You will serve as the point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding processes, procedures, and inbound/outbound shipments. Whether delivering client-facing messages verbally or in writing, or managing the team mailbox, your ability to respond effectively to inquiries and complaints in a timely fashion will be critical. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and the capacity to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a sharp focus on attention to detail.
