This position is central to our commitment to Building a Sustainable Business while providing an Exceptional Customer Experience. You will serve as a vital link between our customers and our Service Department, managing the flow of equipment and information to ensure seamless operations.
In this role, you will handle a dynamic mix of customer service and logistical support. Your day will involve fielding inquiries, coordinating the loading and unloading of customer equipment, and managing the check-in/check-out process for all units. You will maintain clear communication with customers regarding repair timelines and updates, ensuring they are informed every step of the way.
Beyond direct customer interaction, you will manage critical administrative and logistical tasks. This includes preparing service technician time reports, maintaining service department filings and records, and managing warranty bins and parts returns. You will also ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed while keeping the work area clean and orderly. As part of your development, you may participate in specialized Service EDUCATE Training programs to deepen your knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
