Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and review complex income tax returns and workpapers
- check_circleLead client engagements for tax planning, compliance, and provision services
- check_circlePrepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings
- check_circleAssist with tax structuring for real estate transactions and 1031 exchanges
- check_circleSupport high-net-worth individuals with tax optimization and estate planning
- check_circleConduct tax research and assist with IRS and state audit responses
- check_circleManage K-1 reporting, partner capital accounts, and basis tracking
- check_circleSupervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members
- check_circleAssist with engagement management including budgeting and billing
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- verifiedCPA License Preferred
- verifiedMinimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting
- verifiedAdvance knowledge of partnership tax, real estate taxation, and relevant tax compliance issues
- verifiedExperience managing tax engagement and supervising staff
- verifiedProficient in accounting and tax software; experience with QuickBooks, CCH Axcess & Engagement preferred
