KBR's National Security Solutions team delivers high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to the intelligence and national security communities. The JMETC user support team is dedicated to supporting the TRMC Digital Engineering project, which aims to establish a Digital Engineering environment for the Department of War enterprise known as Golden Forge. This team operates within a dynamic, collaborative environment that thrives on innovation and intellectual stimulation.
In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical mission: protecting national security. You will serve as a Systems Engineer with a background in Digital Engineering, working with a distributed team to develop requirements and participate in program leadership to plan and implement the required environment. This includes creating related artifacts to support digital engineering across the Department of War, with a specific focus on Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
You will act as a liaison between end users, application developers, and senior leadership within the Department of War and across the Mission Engineering, Systems Engineering, Test, and Training communities. Your responsibilities include providing technical direction to the government and coordinating technical support with military, civil service, and support contractor personnel for the Test Resource Management Center Data Strategy. Additionally, you will monitor and support the pursuit of viable opportunities by supplying resources and training to assess, screen, and prioritize opportunities, optimizing resource utilization through the definition of requirements and the development of specifications, timelines, and milestones.
The JMETC program focuses on developing and deploying processes, architecture, and business development/knowledge management strategies to facilitate the cost-effective integration of live, virtual, and constructive entities. This distributed approach supports the Department of War acquisition community needs, with JMETC, TENA, and CHEETAS serving as integral components for testing systems-of-systems applications within a realistic joint mission construct.
