Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. Empowered by talented engineers, the group pushes the boundaries of technology to create safer and more sustainable solutions for the U.S. Armed Forces, the Federal Aviation Administration, and international partners. The AUS division focuses on defining, architecting, and delivering software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Saab AUS team, helping to expand our portfolio of products and capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software and systems. Unlike many software positions, you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system, from design and prototyping to verification and support. You may even have the chance to witness the systems you help build operated at sea.
You will solve difficult problems and collaborate with a team of engineers to create innovative solutions. Your work will directly support the delivery of systems that provide needed capabilities to our customers, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
Applicants selected for this role will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
