About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team defining, architecting, and delivering software solutions for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This role is designed for an innovative engineer who wants to see their efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle of a delivered system, from design to sea operations. Unlike many software positions, you will gain tremendous experience with unmanned maritime systems and witness the technology you build operating at sea.

You will be a key contributor to expanding Saab's portfolio of products and capabilities. You will solve difficult problems, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in technical reviews to present concepts, tradeoffs, and performance estimates. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects where your work directly impacts national security and defense capabilities.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must hold or be able to obtain a U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
