About the Team

Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. Empowered by talented engineers, the group pushes the boundaries of technology to create safer and more sustainable solutions. The AUS team defines, architects, implements, and maintains software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). As a key contributor, you will help expand our portfolio of products and capabilities while gaining tremendous experience with unmanned maritime systems.

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will solve difficult problems and deliver systems that provide critical capabilities to our customers. Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective: you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system, from design to verification. You may even have the chance to witness the system you helped build operated at sea. You will work with a team of engineers to design, implement, and maintain software across Linux, Windows, and embedded platforms, applying best practices to create innovative solutions. Your work will involve supporting modeling, simulation, and integration activities, as well as presenting technical concepts and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
