Empowered by 28,000 talented people, Saab constantly pushes the boundaries of technology to create a safer and more sustainable world. The AUS team is a world-class group recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors, delivering advanced technology and systems to the U.S. Armed Forces, the Federal Aviation Administration, and international partners.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a technical team defining, architecting, implementing, and maintaining software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This role is designed for an innovative professional eager to expand their portfolio in unmanned maritime software and systems.
Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective on the entire lifecycle of a delivered system. You will solve difficult problems, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and present technical concepts and tradeoffs to drive the development of innovative solutions.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
