Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. We are dedicated to helping nations keep their people and society safe by pushing the boundaries of technology. Our team defines, architects, and delivers software solutions for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Saab AUS team, helping to expand our portfolio of products and capabilities. Unlike many software positions, this role offers a unique perspective: you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system, from design to verification. You may even have the chance to witness the systems you build operated at sea. You will solve difficult problems and deliver systems that provide critical capabilities to our customers, gaining tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software and systems.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
